FROM EK KASTORIA TO IKASIA

Between March 23rd and 29th we carried out the first preparatory trip for future mobilities of the Erasmus Plus project “FUTUREVET” in which we welcomed Anastasia Efopoulou, teacher of the partner educational center Ergastiriako Kentro Kastorias, at Ikasia Technologies facilities.
During those days, Anastasia was able to work together for the development of future mobilities. In addition, she had the opportunity to get to know Ikasia’s facilities and the work they develop and in which her students will be able
to participate in future mobilities. It has allowed us to specify the characteristics, documentation and innovative projects in which VET students with obstacles in future network mobilities will participate.

Between 4 and 8 December 2023, a preparatory trip for future mobilities was carried out at the Smallcodes facilities in Florence (Italy) within the framework of the Erasmus Plus project “FUTUREVET”. Technicians and managers from the technology company Smallcodes participated in this activity, as well as teachers from the 1st Epalgematiko Lykeio Kato Achaia educational center.
For a week, the participants detailed the characteristics, mechanisms and tools necessary for the technology company to host VET student mobilities with computer barriers in the future.

FROM IKASIA & REDTREE TO 1ST EPAL KATO ACHAIA

Between June 11 and 16, 2024, a preparatory trip for future mobilities took place in which the CEO, the promoter, the responsible of Redtree Making Projects and the head of the Erasmus Plus projects of Ikasia Technologies and the director and VET teachers of mechanics, computer science and electronics of 1st Epalgematiko Lykeio Kato Achaias participated.
For a week we had the opportunity to work and prepare future mobilities of VET students in the company, especially the one that will be carried out by a VET student of computer science from the 1st Epalgematiko Lykeio Kato Achaias in July 2024 at Ikasia Technologies.
During these days we work on the work plan through which the methodology that will be carried out in the company during the mobilities is established so that the student acquires training at the same time as carrying out a paid internship in the company.
In addition, Ikasia had the opportunity to visit the laboratories of the educational center in which students are trained.

FROM SOMATICA TO 1ST EPAL KATO ACHAIA

Between 10 and 14 June 2024, a preparatory trip for future mobilities took place in which the head of Somatica, Materials & Solutions and the director and teachers of VT of mechanics, computer science and electronics of 1st Epalgematiko Lykeio Kato Acaias participated.
For a week they worked and prepared future mobilities of VET students, as well as getting to know the laboratories and the work they do in the educational center. Specifically, they prepared the work plan through which the methodology that will be carried out in the company during the mobilities is established so that the student acquires training at the same time as carrying out a paid internship in the company.

FROM 1ST EPAL KATO ACHAIA TO SOMATICA, M&S

Place: Braga (Portugal)
Between 20 and 24 June 2024, a preparatory trip for future mobilities took place at the facilities of Somatica, Materials & Solutions located in Braga (Portugal) within the framework of the Erasmus Plus project “FUTUREVET”. The
preparatory trip was attended by the ITC professor and head of the coordination of mobilities of 1st Epalgematiko Lykeio Kato Acaias, as well as the managers and technicians of Somatica, Materials & Solutions.
For a week they had the opportunity to work on the work plan that the students will develop in future mobilities in the company, as well as to get to know the company’s facilities and laboratories.

Between July 17th and 20th, 2024 we carried out a preparatory trip for future mobilities in Valencia (Spain) in the framework of the Erasmus Plus project “FUTUREVET”. The CEO, the promoter, the project manager and technicians of Ikasia Technologies, and the director of the educational center 1st Epalgematiko Lykeio Kato Achaias participated.
During these days we had the opportunity to work and prepare future mobilities of VET students in the company for the next academic year, we analyzed the co-responsibility of the company and the educational center regarding the training of the student during the mobilities, the monitoring and evaluation mechanisms and we prepared the work plan. In addition, we visited the Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering Research Center of the Universitat Politècnica de València with which Ikasia collaborates, as well as a visit to the facilities of the Faculty of Computer Science.
